The Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education (OAGE) is a
membership organization that serves as a resource to the aging network.
As an organization of educators, researchers, practitioners, and students
in Ohio, OAGE members are dedicated to gerontological education,
research, and practice. The organization supports Ohio’s aging network
as a resource for research and practice, and provides professional
development opportunities for students, faculty, and practitioners.

- Don Medd, the executive director of Area Agency on Aging 11, died suddenly Wednesday, January 6th in Youngstown. Don had served the aging community since the early 1990's and saw his agency through many changes. Our deepest sympathies to his colleagues in northeast Ohio. - There is a fellowship announcement at www.preventblindness.org for 'Young Investigator Student Fellowship Awards for Female Scholars in Vision Research'. The awards will range from $3000-$5000 for research conducted in 2010.
