Outstanding Educator Award

Nomination Process

  1. Nominations are to be made only by an OAGE member.
  2. The nominee should have both a two-year minimum Ohio continuous residence and two-year minimum continuous Ohio education-related appointment.
  3. A vita which shows Ohio educational relationships is a submission requisite.
  4. Nominations, including vitae, are due March 5th, unless advertised otherwise.
  5. Each nomination should include a brief statement of support by an OAGE member for the nominee.
  6. The Awardee is expected to attend the annual conference to receive the OAGE Gerontology Educator Award.
  7. The Awardee is expected to give a presentation at the following year’s OAGE Conference.
