Professor Jerome Kaplan, Ph.D.
Dr. Jerome Kaplan is presented emeritus status as an OAGE board member on January 20 by
Dr. Cary Kart on behalf of the board of the Ohio Association of Gerontology and
Education, Inc. Dr. Kaplan was instrumental in initiating the Ohio Network of
Educational Consultants in the Field of Aging, the predecessor of OAGE. Dr. Kaplan
resides in the Mansfield Memorial Home in Mansfield, Ohio. He established this home
and served as its first administrator. Pictured above are the following

OAGE board members and friends celebrate Dr. Kaplan's award as a lifetime
honorary board member at the January 20 reception. The only other recipient
of this award was Dr. Boaz Kahana of Cleveland State University.
