With the recent transition to becoming a membership organization, OAGE has been engaged in a strategic planning process. Out of this process emerged a directional compass. We look forward to you joining us on the journey to move the organization forward to promote gerontological education in Ohio.
So, set your travel plans now to join us for the 2008 conference at Cleveland State University. This year’s theme is Global Aging: Lessons Learned for Ohio. The keynote speaker is Dr. Robert N. Butler, M.D., who is a leading expert in the science of aging. As always, the conference is a great opportunity to network with others in Ohio. CEUs are also offered, so keep that in your plans.
As part of the strategic plan compass, OAGE board membership will be structured to provide more opportunities for OAGE members to seek a board of director position through a nomination and election process. Look for more details to follow.
