Student Information & Resources
OAGE is an association of educators, researchers, practitioners, and students in Ohio. The purpose of the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education is to support and enhance the ability of Ohio's post secondary educational institutions in providing necessary education and training to professionals in the field of aging. This involves the following activities:
- Providing education, mentoring and training of students in the field of gerontology;
- Providing a forum for training and dissemination of research;
- Providing information and resources to interested individuals and professionals working in the field of gerontology
The Student Interest Section is open to any student enrolled in an academic program. We encourage participation of academic and professional students because of the cross-cutting focus of gerontology and OAGE. Students may be in undergraduate programs, masters programs, doctoral programs, or practical learning programs (e.g., nursing school, medical school).
