As OAGE continues to grow and evolve, we want to make sure the organization is providing the kinds of opportunities, resources, connections, and benefits that are truly meaningful to our members.
We are inviting you to take a few minutes to complete our OAGE Membership Survey. Your feedback will help us better understand what you value most and what you would like to see from OAGE in the future.
What do you want your OAGE membership to provide?
The survey explores areas such as:
- Professional development and continuing education opportunities
- Networking and opportunities to connect with colleagues
- Student and early-career mentoring
- Access to research, policy updates, and curated gerontology resources
- Opportunities to present, publish, collaborate, volunteer, or take on leadership roles
- Benefits connected to the annual OAGE conference
- Other ideas you believe would strengthen the OAGE experience
We are also exploring the possibility of implementing a small annual membership dues structure, and your feedback is especially important as we consider what membership should look like and what benefits would make participation worthwhile. The survey asks about potential membership categories, willingness to participate, and the value you place on different potential benefits.
This isn't simply a survey about dues. It's an opportunity to help define the value of belonging to OAGE.
Whether you have been an OAGE member for years, recently became involved, or are just beginning to connect with the organization, your perspective matters. Your responses will help OAGE prioritize programming, benefits, and opportunities that reflect the needs and interests of our membership.
We also want to hear your ideas, questions, and concerns. The survey includes an open-ended opportunity to share anything you think OAGE should consider as we look toward the future.
The survey should take only a few minutes to complete. Survey respondents will be entered into a drawing for FREE registration for the 2027 OAGE Annual Conference at Ohio University in Athens, OH. Deadline to submit your response is 5PM Wednesday, September 9.
