Research Interests/Expertise
AgeTech / Gerontechnology and aging-in-place innovation, with a focus on the design, evaluation, and implementation of assistive technologies and digital platforms that enhance independence, safety, social connection, and quality of life for older adults. Research areas include user-centered design, usability testing, adoption patterns, and audience engagement across diverse aging populations.
Teaching Interests/Expertise
Curriculum development and instruction in applied and interdisciplinary gerontology, including topics such as corporate gerontology, aging-in-place strategies, technology and aging, lifespan development, and consumer behavior in later life. Emphasis on real-world application, inclusive pedagogy, and preparing students for emerging careers in the aging services sector.
